Clark Hill Receives Compass Award from Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has honored Clark Hill with a 2019 “Compass Award” in recognition of their support for and provision of career advancement opportunities for diverse attorneys.

The Compass Award recognizes LCLD members who demonstrate an exemplary commitment to the Council’s goal of creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession. To qualify, organizations must actively participate the organization’s programs designed to attract, inspire, and nurture diverse talent in their firms, including attending the Annual Membership Meeting and participating in LCLD’s signature Fellows, Pathfinder and Pipeline Programs.

Clark Hill’s core diversity initiatives include THRIVE, which focuses on the recruitment, retention, advancement and client development for ethnically diverse attorneys; BOLD, which is dedicated to removing gender-based obstacles on the path to partnership/leadership; and PRIDE, which elevates and supports LGBTQ lawyers.

Clark Hill is honored to be receiving this award and will continue to work together to increase the representation of women and minorities firmwide in Clark Hill’s leadership, management and among attorneys and staff.
