Tina Islam counsels and defends both private and public sector employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, family/medical leave, and related statutory and tort claims. Her practice focuses on helping employers both nationwide, and locally in the New Jersey/New York metro area, navigate a variety of employment challenges

Tina’s practice focuses on representing clients in both federal and state court throughout the litigation process. Tina also advises employers to ensure their actions and policies comply with local, state, and federal regulations to prevent lawsuits and promote positive workplaces. Although keeping her clients out of court is Tina’s primary goal, she has represented clients throughout the litigation process from pleadings, to discovery practice, mediations and legal writing advocacy through dispositive motions.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, Tina worked at a New York City firm where she developed her civil litigation skills by defending various clients in state and federal courts involving premises liability, products liability, and construction law disputes.

Additionally, Tina has experience in family and criminal law.
