Thomas Ball represents developers, REITs, institutional and individual investors and lenders in all areas of real estate development, leasing, finance, acquisition and disposition of real property.  Thomas has experience across assets classes and works with retail, office, industrial and residential properties.

Thomas has experience with the construction of residential, industrial and retail projects and counsels clients on how to structure deals most efficiently. Thomas understands the respective needs of the parties in a real estate project and vigorously defends his clients’ interests while still working towards a negotiated agreement. Thomas understands the risks that his clients must face and helps to quantify and lessen the risks to allow for maximum for development while helping innovative projects get completed. Thomas helps develop real estate entities and joint ventures to complete deals. Thomas has experience representing tenants in the negotiation of leases and understands how best to provide tenants with predictability in their relationships with landlords.

Thomas provides pro bono services to immigrants, using his Spanish language skills. Thomas stays up to date and writes about developments in Illinois property law so as to help his clients capitalize on changes.
