Ted Laszlo is a general business and transactional and litigation attorney. Ted’s work involves advising businesses in a wide array of industries, sizes, and life cycles. These matters range from complex corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, drafting and restating operating and shareholder agreements, general corporate counseling, and other matters.

Ted’s practical approach to transactions is a natural extension of his experience as a corporate counsel to power generation leader Babcock & Wilcox, world-wide leading food equipment manufacturer Hobart Corporation and, aerospace leader BFGoodrich Aerospace. Ted negotiates transactions and develops sophisticated, innovative strategies to help deliver his clients’ unique objectives and business needs.

Ted advises clients on how to hold and manage their business and protect their assets. Ted develops structures to help align business goals among the parties to a transaction, and helps clients navigate ownership situations in which varying degrees of interest and operational expertise are harmonized in order to develop a favorable outcome for all stakeholders.

In addition to his extensive corporate and business counseling experience, Ted was a partner with Thompson Hine, a Cleveland-based national law firm where he concentrated his practice on general civil litigation with an emphasis on product liability and toxic torts becoming a recognized leader in defending toxic tort and product liability claims, Ted brings to the firm extensive trial experience in federal and state courts and arbitration tribunals across the country.
