Michelle Margolies Tran advises individuals, families, and business owners in developing customized strategies to achieve their legacy, business succession, estate tax reduction, and asset preservation goals.

With more than 25 years of experience, Michelle serves as a trusted advisor to her clients, using trusts and tailored entity structures to design and implement thoughtful, effective plans. She also provides guidance on complex trust and estate administration matters, including probate, always striving to ensure that clients understand and feel confident in each step of the planning process.

Recognizing that no two families or businesses are the same, Michelle tailors her approach to each client’s unique situation. Her work regularly includes the creation of revocable living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable planning vehicles, and other entities designed to meet each client’s specific objectives. Once a plan is in place, Michelle focuses on its long-term success, helping ensure that it remains aligned with her clients’ evolving needs and continues to accomplish its intended goals.

For entrepreneurial clients, Michelle frequently establishes limited liability companies and other structures to protect and manage business and investment assets. She often serves as the central point of contact for coordinating the various components of a client’s business and personal planning. In doing so, she collaborates closely with colleagues across Clark Hill’s multidisciplinary legal team and partners with clients’ accountants, financial advisors, and other trusted professionals to deliver a cohesive and comprehensive planning experience.
