Michael S. Rosenthal

Member

Michael S. Rosenthal’s practice focuses on representation of franchise, distribution and licensing, as well as general business clients, providing day-to-day counseling and advice, along with dispute resolution services.

Mike enjoys representing start-up and growing franchise systems, and helping others create non-franchised licensing and distribution arrangements.  His practice includes counseling clients on the best way to format their business – franchise, license, distribution or other.  Mike prepares and files necessary government registrations and disclosures, addresses regulatory concerns and problems for clients, and assists them with resolution of disputes.

Mike is certified as a mediator and is a proponent of alternative dispute resolution methods, believing that parties can better resolve disputes between themselves, rather than having a judge, jury or arbitrator tell them what to do.

Mike is devoted to entrepreneurs, having managed two law firms and represented hundreds of clients in starting, running and selling their businesses.   He was on the Board of Directors, and a founding member, of Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) Atlanta, an organization devoted to helping business owners plan for and execute a successful “exit”.
