Michael D. Sauer advises and represents clients in various business matters such as mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and general corporate representation.

Michael uses his 20 years’ experience and mix of legal, business, and financial skills to assist clients with their various legal needs. Michael has experience advising clients on acquisitions and divestures, contractual matters, corporate governance, electronic payments and general business issues.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, Michael served as General Counsel for one of the largest electronic payment processing companies in the United States, where he advised the executive team on all legal matters related to the business. Michael also served as corporate counsel in assisting a Fortune 500 manufacturing company in the divestiture of multiple divisions and was an associate member of larger regional and international law firms.
