Matthew (“Matt”) Spolsky, Esq., is a Real Estate Litigation Associate. With his background in commercial litigation, Matthew is better able to assist clients navigating complex real estate disputes. His commitment lies in comprehensively understanding each client’s individual requirements, allowing him to tailor strategies for optimal results.

Matthew has a growing practice in sports law, focusing on Name, Image, and Likeness (“NIL”) related work for collegiate athletes and the broader sports community. He advises athletes on the legal implications of NIL deals along with helping clients navigate the complexities of endorsement contracts, social media use, and brand partnerships. With the recent changes in the NCAA’s NIL policy, Matthew provides valuable guidance on how athletes can capitalize on their personal brand while ensuring compliance with NCAA rules and state regulations.

Active in the legal community, Matthew serves on the Executive Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA) Sports and Entertainment Law Section. He previously served on the Executive Committee of the New Lawyer’s Division where he published a number of articles including interviews of the San Diego judiciary.
