Lindsay Sherwood Fouse-Hopkins
Lindsay Sherwood Fouse-Hopkins represents local and multinational companies in complex commercial litigation, including high-stakes business and contract disputes, corporate governance and directorship matters, and commercial real estate litigation.
Lindsay is a sophisticated advocate with extensive litigation and trial experience handling a variety of commercial matters before federal and state courts and in alternative dispute forums. Lindsay’s cases involve complex contracts, fraud and business tort disputes, and commercial real estate transactions. She also represents multinational generic pharmaceutical manufacturers in antitrust, multidistrict class actions and litigates white collar criminal matters. Lindsay is known for understanding her clients’ businesses and securing tremendous results.
Lindsay is a member of Clark Hill’s Recruiting Committee and co-chairs the firmwide Summer Associate program. Lindsay is the Pittsburgh office representative of BOLD, an auxiliary group within the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, whose goal is to encourage the professional growth and promotion of women in the firm, the legal industry and the global business community. She is also a core team member of the PULSE Commercial Real Estate Industry Team aiming to provide integrated legal services to commercial real estate clients and businesses. Lindsay initiated and leads the Pittsburgh office’s pro bono Name Change Project, which provides free legal name change services to low-income transgender and non-binary neighbors. She is a Senior Member appointee of the Hearing Committee for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
Lindsay was nationally recognized as one of the American Bar Association’s 2024 “On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers.” She has been with Clark Hill since she began her legal career as a summer associate in 2014.
