Lauren K. Burton

Senior Attorney

Lauren Burton represents municipal entities including drain commissioners and water resources commissioners with issues concerning real estate, water resources, environment, easements, and condemnation. In addition, Lauren helps clients navigate state and federal regulations.

While attending Michigan State University College of Law, Lauren received the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for academic excellence in State and Local Government Law.

Throughout law school, Lauren worked as a Legislative Aide at the Michigan House of Representatives. She also interned with the Michigan Attorney General’s Environment, Natural Resources & Agriculture Division and served as an extern for the Lansing City Attorney’s Office.
