She works extensively with organizations’ leadership teams in the design and execution of legally sound, progressive business approaches and initiatives that are aligned with corporate objectives. Kaveri’s legal practice centers around serving as general counsel to sports industry individuals and companies, including professional and amateur athletes.
Professional Background
Kaveri started her legal career in private practice at ReedSmith, LLP as a corporate attorney and thereafter served as in-house general counsel for several entities. Her significant transactional experience includes work in securities, advertising and media, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, and international law.
She began her professional career working full-time for the Exxon Mobil Corporation by managing business and marketing activities in North and South America. During her tenure with ExxonMobil, she helped steward premier brands such as Mobil 1, Mobil, Exxon, and Esso, and developed strategic alliances, major sponsorships, and licensing agreements with entities such as NASCAR, Miller Brewing Company, General Motors, and Walmart.
