Janis Buchanan

Paralegal

Janis Buchanan has served as a paralegal for over 30 years. She works primarily in the corporate section handling entity formation, governance and maintenance. She also has extensive experience with all aspects of mergers and acquisition from beginning with due diligence thru closing, and after. She drafts minutes, consents and resolutions and other documents and agreements as required.

She works directly with clients to assist with their ongoing corporate maintenance and global subsidiaries, as well as performing complete reviews of their corporate records, with subsequent “clean-up”. She is experienced in real estate and banking, UCC’s and related documents. Along with corporate experience, she also has experience dealing with a variety of maritime matters and USCG documentation. She also assists in various litigation tasks as needed.
