Jack McCaffrey is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice, where he focuses his practice on government investigations (DOJ, SEC, PCAOB, FTC, State AGs), commercial litigation, and defense of businesses in cyber, privacy, consumer claims, and technology disputes.

Jack successfully defends businesses in class actions arising out of data breaches, including obtaining dismissal of claims on Art. III standing and other grounds. Jack works to defend companies facing invasion of privacy, wiretap, wrongful collection and related statutory claims (CIPA/IRPA/BIPA/VPPA), and assists related governmental investigations concerning online advertising, privacy, AI governance and related matters.

As a member of the firm’s Mislabeling/False Advertising group, which defends businesses in the food and beverage industry from consumer class actions, Jack has experience in class discovery and certification proceedings.
