Before starting his arbitration practice, Farhod honed his skills in the International Department of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan. There, he played a pivotal role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating intergovernmental memoranda and legal opinions on behalf of the Uzbek government, particularly in matters concerning state guarantees and investment projects. Additionally, Farhod has contributed significantly in the President’s Administration and Security Council of Uzbekistan. His responsibilities included preparing analytical reports on policy and defense for Central Asian and CIS member countries, demonstrating his adeptness in addressing complex geopolitical issues.
Beyond international arbitration, Farhod possesses great knowledge in international project financing, investor analysis, and legal review of agreements gained through his tenure at an Uzbek law firm. His comprehensive training and experience in civil and common law jurisdictions uniquely position him to navigate the nuances of different legal systems and tailor advice accordingly.
Farhod’s dedication to legal excellence extends beyond his professional endeavors. He has been appointed as a presiding arbitrator and party-appointed arbitrator in multiple international commercial arbitration cases, demonstrating his exceptional knowledge and credibility in the field.
