Emanuel Cardenas

Emanuel Cardenas has more than a decade of experience in international arbitration, infrastructure, projects, concessions law, construction law, and pro bono. His practice extends to investment arbitration, commercial arbitration, construction law, project finance, mining, international negotiations, and government-to-government agreements.

Emanuel has represented global companies and governments in Latin America. Currently, he is counsel in a PCA case involving a major construction arbitration in the Dominican Republic. He successfully represented the biggest infrastructure project in Peru in a complex high-stakes dispute under ICSID Arbitration Rules. He represented the concessionaires for the biggest irrigation and highway projects in Peru in international arbitrations under ICC and UNCITRAL Rules, obtaining favorable awards in those cases.

Before joining Clark Hill, Emanuel worked as a senior associate for an international law firm in Peru where he managed the contract for the most important infrastructure project with a USD $5 Billion CAPEX and represented companies and investors in international arbitration under ICSID, ICC, and UNCITRAL Rules. He also represented pro bono clients such as Foodbanks and NGOs.
