Diane Festin LaRoss has extensive experience navigating all aspects of litigation, through trial and appeal in both state and federal courts. She currently defends state agencies and public officials in election related litigation. She has been involved in matters in all federal courts in Georgia, argued cases in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and worked on cases in the U.S. Supreme Court. Her federal court experience includes Voting Rights Act and constitutional matters including the recent redistricting cases in Georgia while a partner in the Election Law Group. Previously, she also worked on civil rights and major tort cases defending state officials including law enforcement and prison officials while serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Georgia Attorney General’s Office.
