Diane Festin LaRoss

Before her current practice in elections, Diane’s experience spanned a wide variety of litigation areas including personal injury matters, municipal and police professional liability cases, tort cases, contract litigation, construction litigation and government contracts litigation. She also handled cases in mediation and arbitration, supervised a national litigation management program for a major retailer in the construction industry and managed multi-jurisdictional construction litigation.

Diane has also handled both jury and non-jury cases leading up to and at trial in the state and federal courts in Georgia and Pennsylvania although her practice is now entirely in the courts of Georgia. In addition to her federal court trial and appellate experience, she argued cases in the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. In the Georgia Supreme Court, Diane successfully defended the constitutionality of the venue provision of the Georgia Tort Claims Act.
