Before joining Clark Hill, Dean served as Legal Counsel for Lotus Cars, overseeing legal matters in the U.S. and Canada, including franchise law, warranty issues, product liability, regulatory compliance, logistics, and commercial transactions. His in-house experience provides him with a deep understanding of the challenges manufacturers face in navigating legal and regulatory frameworks.
Dean’s background also includes consulting, teaching, and corporate relations leadership at IE Business School in Madrid, where he developed strategic partnerships and legal education programs. Earlier in his career, he worked in environmental law and natural resources litigation, supporting conservation efforts in the Colorado River Delta and providing pro bono legal services in criminal defense and immigration law.
With a diverse legal and academic background, Dean brings a broad perspective to his practice, helping clients navigate complex disputes and compliance challenges in the automotive sector.
