Throughout his years of practice, clients look to Peter in handling a myriad of complex commercial contract, business tort, and securities disputes in the automotive, manufacturing, financial and tech industries. While his primary goal is always to identify risk at the early stages of a dispute and resolve issues quickly and efficiently when possible, Peter also successfully litigates cases throughout the country in both federal and state courts and arbitration.
Peter represents clients in governmental investigations, including criminal and regulatory investigations, and internal investigation. In his investigation practice, Peter guides clients through criminal and regulatory investigations commenced by federal government agencies. His main goal in such matters is to decrease or eliminate the clients’ organizational exposure by working with government regulators to achieve fair, equitable, and cost-effective results for the client. Peter also conducts internal investigations of his clients’ business practices to ensure that the clients remain in compliance with federal and state law.
Prior to joining Clark Hill, Peter practiced at a large multinational law firm in Washington, DC where he represented clients in a wide array of commercial, white collar crime and securities disputes in both state and federal courts. During his tenure at that firm, he also received two pro bono awards for his dedication to the representation of indigent clients.
