Conrad Furlich works as a policy analyst for Clark Hill Public Strategies, engaging with the federal government to help clients achieve their desired legislative and regulatory policy outcomes.

Conrad received his BA in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia and graduated one year later from UVA’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy with a master’s in public policy. He is passionate about foreign policy, completing his capstone policy project on NATO partnerships in the Indo-Pacific. Conrad is a policy generalist with experience working in a wide variety of policy spheres, able to get up to speed quickly on a wide variety of issue sets and deliver actionable policy recommendations.

Conrad works with the Clark Hill Public Strategies team in its mission to provide clients with high quality lobbying, consulting, and public policy advocacy services at the federal and state level. He understands what drives decision-making in Washington, what causes roadblocks, and how to create high-impact regulatory and legislative outcomes.

Conrad deals primarily with regulatory and appropriations policy, monitoring both spheres for new developments that could impact clients. He analyzes proposed regulatory changes and appropriations packages for the details that matter to clients and relies on Clark Hill’s extensive connections with the federal government to effect desired policy outcomes.
