Catalina Mandujano focuses her practice on local and international taxation. She provides advice regarding how to duly comply with the legal tax provisions, how to support their transactions, how to prepare and avoid any future contingencies and at last how to defend their rights as Mexican taxpayers.

Catalina is experienced in tax consulting and assists Mexican residents on day-to-day operations and specific circumstances to avoid unfavorable tax consequences. She also assists U.S. and international clients on all facets of entering, establishing and running a business in Mexico and uses that knowledge to anticipate tax effects on operations. She also has significant knowledge of Mexican taxation, especially related to the oil and gas industry, and the consequences that derives for a specific tax regime.

In addition, Catalina has a significant background in tax controversy, serving as part of the lead counsel team within audits procedures, significantly reducing tax assessments and preparing the companies for a possible trial. She defends clients through administrative appeals, administrative trial, constitutional trials and other amicable means, including settlement procedures or bilateral advanced pricing agreements under several tax treaties concerning intercompany operations.
