For school district clients, Bailey provides support when complaints are filed in state and federal courts and administrative tribunals, with claims arising out of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act, the Freedom of Information Act, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
Additionally, Bailey has successfully defended clients through providing support in all phases of litigation, such as drafting dispositive motions, responsive pleadings, and handling motion practice. Bailey also works with clients to find ways to reach resolution through alternatives to litigation.
In addition to providing representation for legal proceedings, Bailey provides professional development trainings throughout the state of Michigan. Prior to joining Clark Hill, Bailey worked at a boutique appellate litigation firm, where she supported clients in pursuing civil and criminal appeals.
