Ashley assists attorneys and clients with regulatory and transactional needs in franchising including creating Franchise Disclosure Documents and filing franchise registration and renewal applications in the registration and filing states. She prepares and updates state specific disclosure documents for Business Opportunities along with filing the registrations and renewals in the registration states. She has oral and written communication with multiple Attorney General offices and other regulator offices in order to ensure franchise and business opportunity registration approval. She prepares Franchise Agreements, Addenda to Franchise agreements and coordinates franchisor and franchisee execution.
Ashley also assists in all aspects of formations, amendments, conversion and dissolutions of entities along with maintenance of entities in all states. She works with clients on the due diligence of their entities to comply with the Corporate Transparency Act. She performs lien searches in various jurisdictions and reviews collateral descriptions and prepares reports of findings for attorneys.
