Alexandra Fuxa Ramirez

Associate

Alexandra M. Fuxa Ramirez is an experienced immigration lawyer with a proven track record in humanitarian relief, employment immigration, and family-based petitions, including removal defense before EOIR and representation before USCIS Adjudicating Officers. She is very passionate about serving the immigrant community.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, Alexandra represented business and employment immigration clients in a variety of petitions, including EB-2 NIW, O-1A/O-1B, and EB-1 visas. She also represented undocumented survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking in their immigration matters. Alexandra was awarded the Fran Kandel Public Interest Fellowship by the Women Lawyers’ Association of Los Angeles (WLALA), which allowed her to create a brochure informing immigrant survivors of violent crimes of the public benefits they are eligible for in the state of California depending on their immigration status.

While in law school, Alexandra discovered her passion for immigration law. Alexandra participated in her law school’s immigration clinic at Indiana Legal Services, a local nonprofit organization. During this clinic, Alexandra successfully represented clients in a defensive asylum hearing at the immigration court in Chicago, IL.

Alexandra is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
