Clark Hill Launches New Economic Consulting Division: Clark Hill Economics
Clark Hill PLC announced today the launch of Clark Hill Economics (CHE), an “in-house” economic consulting group offering global client solutions such as economic impact reports, project feasibility analysis, macroeconomic forecasting, and international geopolitical analysis. CHE will operate as a division of Clark Hill Public Strategies (CHPS), the lobbying and international government relations arm of Clark Hill Law.
“The rapid convergence of law, economics and geopolitics is creating real challenges for CEOs and CFOs in today’s business environment. These executives need immediate advice and counsel that integrates multiple solutions in law, lobbying, and economics into one unified strategic path forward. We believe that being one of the first law firms in America to establish an economics consulting division demonstrates Clark Hill’s entrepreneurial DNA and that we are relentless in focusing on what fast-growing clients actually need,” said Clark Hill Chief Executive Officer John Hensien.
CHE will be led by its Chief Economist, Jonathan Galaviz, a former senior official in the first Trump Administration. Galaviz previously served in similar roles in prior private sector roles, and frequently appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg, and other global media outlets. He has counseled Fortune 500 clients on geopolitical and government relations matters concerning the Asia-Pacific, European Union, and Latin American regions for over 20 years.
Clark Hill Public Strategies was established in 2022 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Clark Hill Law, and it will fully integrate CHE consulting solutions into its lobbying and government relations engagements. Upon launch, Clark Hill Economics will boast nearly two dozen professionals with significant global economic expertise. CHE will also have country-specific experts who focus their economic analysis on countries such as Singapore, United Arab Emirates, China, Japan, and Mexico.
“Clark Hill Economics will operate at the juncture of international law, economic policy, and business,” said Bret Wacker, Managing Director of CHPS. “National and international paradigm shifts require business and government leaders to access reliable, independent, and insightful economic data that can help clarify decision-making. CHE gives clients independent economic reports and robust insightful analysis they need to rapidly grow their business.”
